About UMS AHA Training Site

UMS AHA training site is a centre of training under the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences Universiti Malaysia Sabah. Under the tutelage of the respected Dean of Faculty, 12 Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support instructors has been trained, aligned to the Malaysia AHA Training Centre, UKM.

Utilising the faculty's Respiratory Lab, the training site is able to train up to 24 BLS and ACLS Providers over a 3-day period. 

The instructors consists of doctors and lecturers from many disciplines such as Emergency Medicine, Anesthesiology, Medicine and Public Health.

The training site aims to hold monthly AHA certified BLS and ACLS courses.

These courses are aimed at health care workers, offshore professionals as well as the public in order to fulfill the demand for such training in Sabah and Labuan.
